City worth to be seen – Brussels

Brussels is the capital of Belgium a small European country. This city has its own unique history, its architecture is marvelous and it covers a huge historical distance from baroque to art nouveau style. It attracts its visitors by  special atmosphere, it is famous for its festivals and for its delicacies.

Park of the Fiftieth Anniversary with the triumphal arch, the Atomium, European Quarter show that Brussels is not only a capital of a country but the capital of Europe.

It is only in Brussels you can learn the comics history just not only by looking in books and even not only by visiting the museum, as there is the comics museum in Brussels, but simply by looking at the walls of the buildings where you  can find some funny heroes.

Do you like beer? So you must visit Brussels “braisserie” and you will be amazed by the number of varies sorts of beer, up to the 2000 in one particular bar:

 “Brussels belly”  restaurants meet the demands of the most exquisite gourmet tastes.

And of course you will be charmed the Brussels people which are friendly, frank  and hospitable.

It is also worth to know about some particular periods of time when  you can enjoy some special events in Brussels:

In spring you have an opportunity to see the unique Royal Greenhouses which are open only once a year in April or May when the flowers are in full bloom.

In summer Royal Palace open its doors for visitors; you are welcome with free entrance.

Once in two years in the middle of August the Flower Capet spreads on the central square. 2016 will be the year of the Capet.
